Judges Education in Raleigh, NC

To kick off the amazing road trip of awesomeness, I went back to study more of the herding breeds in the quest of understanding dog form and function.

On Thursday, we studied Miniature American Shepherds, Lancashire Heelers, and the German Shepherd Dogs. Friday we studied Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Icelandic Sheepdogs (no hands on), and then we did a comparison seminar with the Aussie, Border Collie, and Miniature American Shepherd.

Saturday was packed full with Shetland Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhunds, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. First thing Sunday, we had a comparison seminar between the Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and then the Pumi. We also had an amazing comparison seminar with the Mudi, Pumi, and Puli comparison.

And then we finished up on Monday with three Belgians, the Tervuren, Malinois, and Sheepdog, followed by the comparison seminar for all three breeds.

My brain was super full, and I learned a whole lot!
