After our Missouri Clinic, we stopped to hike along the Illinois/Vermillion River areas to explore the canyons. However, the first place we stopped were actually really flooded, so we had to take the upper canyon trail. Just up the road though, at Starved Rock, St. Louis Canyon was beautiful! We definitely have to go back though.
