After the national Dog Show, we took the day off of work and worked with some freshly weaned calves with Mazikeen and Chunky. We really had to reach hard through to get them to lift off the fence and start to fetch in the middle. I really had to work with my timing and positioning, both getting them to slow down enough to lift, and to make sure the dogs were able to reach through along the fence, which was hard with how light the cows were.
Well worth my time, I just wish we had more days to work with him besides the one. As we made a lot of progress in one day.
