So… this trial, I learned something about Chunky… Despite working geese, runner ducks, pekins, and swedish blues… Call ducks were a total mystery. Like, she could get behind them and move them… but she didn’t hold pressure behind them, and wanted to keep stopping their movement. It was so very weird. So, there was an opening in the sheep trials in the afternoon, and we switched to sheep, where she was able to take a first place finish and win me an awesome pink sheep. She also won the started cattle class twice, and finished her started cattle title. I can’t tell you how excited I am to move up into open/intermediate! (And some remedial duck work)
