It is always one of my favorite experiences to travel down to Auntie Terri’s House. She has helped me grow as a handler SO MUCH, learning to be comfortable and confident, as well as getting my dogs comfortable and poised while driving long distances and doing farm work.
Fiddle and Mazikeen drive ok, but once I get past a certain distance (between 100-150 yards), they get very insecure with their driving. Then, when we get the driving sorted, we lose the outrun!
Chunky and Rory are very much developing great skills, and growing to be very confident dogs. Rory is still struggling to know the difference on when to drive and when to fetch, but I think time will help her understand that they are two different things!
