Azula, aka, Chunky is my keeper from the Kuper x Fiddle litter. Immediately, I fell in love with her independence, and she was the only puppy in the litter who seemed to respect Clark, and not annoy the crap out of my poor old man. I needed bone, and a bit more forechest and upper arm angle, and she had everything I wanted from the structural standpoint.

She was also the first dog that I did BPUP AKC program with, just to get them accustomed to the crazy world of the show ring… and she did very well. She also got her first major under Pat Hastings her 3rd day in the big girl ring! She had to mature a little bit, finished her Grand Championship in August 2025, and is now retired from the show ring.

We have been working hard on stock in multiple types of livestock. She seems to have a very strong sense of the draw, and how to work a bit ahead of the stock to keep them from running out. She doesn’t hesitate going into corners, and has a way of going around stock without leaning hard on them. I am excited for her future! She has finished her started titles on sheep and cows, and is ready to progress into off leash work for rally and obedience.
