Mazikeen was born in the first Cordell x Fiddle Litter on July 24, 2020. She has really turned into a wonderful, mature adult. She was my very first show champion (out of the Bred By Class), and she really gives me 110% in every effort. She is a very enthusiastic herding dog, and is willing to bite both head and heels, and prefers to work very close to her livestock. It has taken a lot of effort to get her to balance out around stock. She has a wonderful sense of group (really evident when working poultry), and defaults to gathering stock to me (unlike Fiddle, who prefers to drive).

She is also a wonderful conformation dog, taking several Owner Handled Group placements, a few Group Placements, and wound up finishing in the Owner Handled top 10 for the 2023, 2024, AND 2025 show year, getting an invite to participate at Royal Canin. She also finished in the top 12 out of 200 at the 2024 Australian Cattle Dog Club of America National Specialty in Lebanon, TN. She has titles in four sports so far (Conformation, Rally, Obedience, and Herding), and we are working on intermediate and advanced level stuff. I am excited to have gotten such an amazing working partner out of her, and look forward to the future! She was Second Place in Versatility at the 2025 Nationals at Purina Farm, and finished the year as the Top 20 Most Titled, with 11 Titles in the 2024 Calendar Year.
