I am super proud of Mazikeen for making the Top 10 again (for the 3rd year in a row), despite a limited showing for this past year! We couldn’t go to Orlando, but she is a very wonderful, and giving partner, and I wouldn’t trade her for anything!
I didn’t have anyone entered for these shows, as I was there saving money for nationals in a few weeks. I did however pick Tommy up, as he will be joining us this year for herding training, and to show and hopefully finish his Championship in 2026! Well, it turns out that Mazikeens litter didn’t take. So, instead of whelping puppies this weekend, we went out to Berryville to work cows, ducks, and sheep. We brought the red gang out to Berryville, VA to work on Advanced level work with Fiddle and Mazikeen, Intermediate sheep and cattle work with Chunky, and Started Duck work with Rory and Sue! It was the most wonderful, nice day, that this person, writing this post in August is longing for!
