I am starting to pull away from doing conformation in favor of other sports to save and pool my money, but, my friends and I got together to enter on Friday Friday 10/31/25 Judge: Dr. Steven L. Keating Mazikeen: Nothing Tommy: Reserve Winners Dog
We drove back from nationals to drop into the Doswell show in October. We only entered on Saturday. Getting very close to that Silver Grand Championship Saturday 10/25/25 Judge: Mr. Thomas Coen Mazikeen – B/BOBOH – (2-GC Points)
I can’t tell you how precious it is to have a marvelous, talented, and wonderful girl at the end of my leash! At the end of the year, the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America puts together a list of dogs, girl dogs, and breeders of most titles. And for the 2024 Calendar Year, I … More Australian Cattle Dog – Year End Awards
One of my favorite part of the ACD Nationals is that we have our test classes on cattle. So, little Mr. Sue was allowed to do his HT on cattle! I was so pleased with the effort he gave in the dying light! The judges wanted us to get him razzed up a bit, but … More ACDCA Nationals – Sue

I just can’t wait for where our future is … More ACDCA Nationals – Chunky
Tommy came along for the trip, and participated in Bred By – Adult in conformation at the national. He was… very excited to see our lovely judge, Nancy Simmons, and ended up taking 3rd place! (that is… apparently our lucky number!). I am really excited for this guy to get some body, and to finish … More ACDCA Nationals – Tommy
Like her mother and sister, Rory (Cordell x Fiddle) did a wonderful job at nationals! She also participated in the versatility, finishing 7th in Conformation, 3rd in her rally novice debut with a wonderful score of a 97, and finished 3rd on started cattle. Her and Fiddle were within 10 points from each other, and … More ACDCA Nationals – Rory
Aside from being the most titled Top 20 herding dog, Mazikeen also competed in the Versatility Competition, and finished in second place! She took 9th in Versatility conformation, 3rd in Advanced Rally, and 4th in Advanced Sheep! I am super excited for the future with her!
This was Fiddles first national, as she was on maternity leave last year! We decided to enter versatility, which required a Qualifying score in herding, another sport (nosework, tracking, agility, obedience, or rally), and participate in versatility conformation. She wound up qualifying in Advanced Rally (and her stupid handler didn’t bring her feet together and … More ACDCA Nationals – Fiddle
