At the end of October/early November, we ran a herding fun day, of sorts, with Australian Cattle Dog people out at Keepstone Farm. My lovely friend Sandy is an amazing photographer, and took pictures.
Ukulele is my special girl that I struggle with the most. She has AMAZING cover speed, and moves a lot like a border collie (that she can be close to stock without leaning her body pressure on them). She has amazing speed an athleticism. NOW, I need to work her giving better to pressure. She has a hard time in smaller areas, holding pressure in corners. We have been working her on cattle presence, and she is very much improving, but she is kind of on the opposite end of the specturm as Mazikeen.
