November Herding Trial: Berryville, Virginia

Well, I have been talking about trialing a LONG TIME now. And, let me tell you, I found a LOT of training holes, including getting the stock off the fence. Our outrun/lift/fetch need the most work. And I, as a handler, kind of lost my crap. Lots of yelling, and shrieking. The second day, I was much, much better, and Fiddle and I were able to settle into a groove and take two first place finishes. Mazikeen also had two really good runs, qualifying the second time under Roy Johnson.

I ran Mazikeen on sheep the first day, and really struggled with balance and the draw. She wanted to cover, and not hold where she needed to be. we have a lot to work on.
